With over seventeen years’ of combined experience in legal and compliance, Mr. McMurtry has the knowledge, capability, and discipline to exceed all expectations as an expert in conducting “due diligence“. With his extensive background as a manager within Sovereign Bank’s Legal Department, Harold directly contributed to major legal projects critical to supporting the company’s growth.

Harold’s leadership and legal experience includes, but not limited to, Vendors Contracts, Commercial/Consumer Lending, Bankruptcy and Real Estate (both Commercial and Consumer). Harold is recognized as a strong team leader, motivator, and performer who can work cross-functionally to complete projects with consistent success.

Harold has been repeatedly called on to assist General Counsel and Executive Management with information, critical to the resolution of legal issues for both large- and small-scale projects and, just as importantly, tasked with assessing and building teams that positively affect the overall success of the company.

Harold’s additional experience includes leadership and facilitation of legal and compliance teams for evaluating the legal aspects of financial services portfolios. He has actively participated in due diligence activity, as well as, the implementation of the recommendations set forth in the due diligence summary. His strong written and verbal communication skills are the foundation of success on projects and assignments.

Harold earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from Rowan University, New Jersey.
