Damone Richardson has nearly 20 years of experience spanning the spectrum of Human Resources and Industrial Relations in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Currently, he leads Employee and Labor Relations at Harper College in the Chicago area. Previously he has served as Vice President of Human Resources at Steiner Studios in New York, where he launched the HR function; Director of Strategy Development for Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations; and as a Consultant for Workforce Solutions. This broad experience allows him to employ a proactive and multidisciplinary approach to training and research.

Clients for whom he has delivered workshops and developed proprietary research include: American Express, Sovereign Bank, Monsanto, Zapoint, The Screen Actor’s Guild, The Writer’s Guild of America and The New York Production Alliance. He has also guest lectured at Harvard University, New York University, Queens College and the University of Wisconsin.

He has authored over 50 proprietary studies, and published numerous articles. Additionally, he has spoken at dozens of conferences, and has appeared as an expert in the print media, documentaries and news programs, including ABC World News Tonight. Damone has also served on the New York City Mayor’s Task Force on Diversity in Film, TV and Commercial Production, and as a board member of the United Association of Labor Educators and the New York City Arts & Business Council. He holds a B.A. in Journalism and an M.S. in Industrial Relations, both from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
