Carole Copeland Thomas – MA
As an international speaker, veteran trainer, organizational consultant and radio talk show host Carole Copeland Thomas moderates the discussions of key issues affecting our global marketplace. She has her pulse on the issues affecting working professionals and consults with industry leaders on a regular basis. From speaking at federal agencies including the Federal Highway Administration, USDA, US Department of the Treasury, EPA, DEA to Hewlett Packard, Novartis, Verizon, Cargill, and Monster.com to interviewing experts around the globe, Carole knows how to analyze the dynamics of a changing marketplace.
Carole is the voice of personal empowerment, multiculturalism, and global diversity. She is a keynote speaker, empowerment expert, global diversity professional, interactive trainer, leadership consultant, and business coach in C.Thomas & Associates, a business she started in 1987. Ms. Thomas served as an adjunct faculty member for Bentley University for a decade, and has spoken throughout the United States, London, England, Canada, El Salvador, Kenya, South Africa and Australia. She recently co-founded a non-profit international organization with nine other women as a result of a 2005 trip to Kenya. The group returned to Kenya in November 2007 and 2010 for humanitarian projects and hosted their first International Conference in Mombasa, Kenya in 2007. Carole also serves as a speaker and event consultant for the Sudanese Women’s Leadership Forum.
Carole served as consultant and diversity audit facilitator at Tufts New England Medical Center. She also served as diversity consultant and trainer for Milton Public Schools (Massachusetts) and the TJX Companies (TJ Maxx and Marshalls). Carole served as the empowerment and cultural competency consultant for Mattapan Community Health Center for more than 10 years.
Carole is also a regular speaker at the Multicultural Forum hosted by the University of St. Thomas and The Twin Cities Chapter of The National Black MBA Association and the Annual Conference of the National Black MBA Association.
