Mr. Martinez is a Valued Partner at CIS Valued Partners, LLC., and President of ZenitramBTS LLC. At CIS Domingo leads the Vendor Risk Management program that focuses on assisting companies with the vendor diversity, supplier and vendor management needs.
ZenitramBTS was established to partner with companies to find solutions for today’s business landscape. Our belief is that technology is a tool that should be used in conjunction with people and other disciplines, to develop and apply field-tested realistic solutions.
Prior to joining CIS Valued Partners, Domingo Martinez was Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Sovereign Bank. In his 13 year tenure at the bank, Mr. Martinez refined his skills and sharpened his acumen in leading the banks IT vendor and supplier resource program.
In addition to vendor management, Mr. Martinez was a top executive responsible for the technological of growth of the bank. Under his leadership he directed the acquisition and integration of 16 banks and financial services companies including the largest bank divestiture in US history (the record still stands). His team had a reputation of a “refined smooth conversion machine”. He managed a team of 300+ IT professionals supporting a network of 900 bank branches with over 12,000 employees, and a managed budget of $300MM in purchases of goods and services. Prior to joining Sovereign Bank, Domingo dedicated 17 years of service at Chase Manhattan Bank. He held various positions in Application Development, Data Center management, Program Director, and Corporate Architecture leader.
Domingo is a focused and driven professional who delivers results. He is comfortable speaking or presenting at any level of the company and has the ability to adjust presentation to match the audience. With 20+ years of banking and IT experience, Domingo has partnered with executives, directors, and managers to develop strategic plans and reorganize teams to respond to changing demographics and business needs.
While at Sovereign Domingo was heavily involved in the Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, Community support, The Latino Chamber of Commerce and established an IT Internship program with local colleges and technical schools to help second career individuals and recent graduates jump start their careers.
Domingo is heavily involved in his local church where he works with teens. He, along with his wife, has worked with teens for the last 15 years. Every year they take 50-100 teens to a week of camp. Their view is that teens will be the leaders of tomorrow and we have a responsibility to help them with guidance, love, and time. Domingo earned a Computer Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from City University of New York and University of Phoenix.
